This is a call for help! If anyone sees this, I need urgent assistance! I found my way into the labyrinth of 'TV Tropes' and I'm lost and stranded here. Every time I think I've found the exit it turns out to be a passageway to lists of cliches found in old cartoons and video games! How do I get out of here!?

Eventually you will realize how TV Tropes is not as conductuctive to understanding art as it seems at first glance and you will get bored of it.

Jeez, who said I use it to understand art? I just find it to be an amusing timewaster, and I enjoy reading about Easter eggs or jokes in games that I hadn't noticed.

Even if you think you have escaped into familiar surroundings for a short while, eventually you turn a corner and find yourself lost again.

A lot of the articles have as much information in the anime and manga sections as they do in all the other categories combined.

Oddly, I find that one hard to directly get. I understand the punchline, but I've been around enough German girls to know that isn't a strong enough blanket statement... but Russian girls are definitely good. So, a conundrum!
