^ yeah but all of those are the JP vs US name. The one listed in the OP and by noise are ones that were released in the US and then the name in the US changed.

Re: Game with two different names?!
There have been a few other games to have name changes. The original Duke Nukem was renamed Duke Nukum once Apogee found out about a Captain Planet character with the same name. Apogee also released a game called Halloween Harry that they renamed Alien Carnage so people wouldn't think of it as a Halloween game.

Yeah, but the title reads " games with 2 different names"
Its not like I listed translations like DDP Dai Fukkatsu - Ressurection
Those games have 2 different names, thus it seemed relevent.

Heh I did to. I actually just traded my copy to someone here.Stark wrote: Also, I should add, that as soon as I saw this thread title I knew what game you were talking about.
I bought the game the day it came out when I was a kid. I remember reading about it in gaming zines before it came out. I thought they changed the name because myst. On the back of the blazing heroes box it actually says formerly mystria or something like that. I'm actually surprised that this game isn't the srpg hidden gem racket boy used in the article instead of just an honorable mention. A really great game that I always thought no one had ever heard of. Most certainly a hidden gem.
Re: Game with two different names?!
Yeah I guess I find that less interesting is all. It seems commonplace for names to change when they go from JP to US. Bio Hazard was one you mentioned that is one of the more known ones. It seems to me a change to the title in the same region after it has already been released in that region, that has to be pretty rare, right?dunpeal2064 wrote:Yeah, but the title reads " games with 2 different names"

Yes, much more rare. This thread is pretty much over if that's all we are looking for
I'm sorry my post did not interest you, perhaps another will find something interesting about it.
And now there are 5 posts reguarding my one post, all having nothing to do with the thread topic.
The irony
