You know what happened when I crossed the line and suggested it to be the Psikyo game for Shmup of the Month

I just showed you how to get it for $30-40. :)

Japamart (http://www.japamart.com/) is a middleman service. They'd charge an $8 service fee for Shienryu. So, if 2420yen is around $30, add $8 to it plus shipping. There, Shienryu for $38. STILL under $50 WITH shipping. Don't get ripped off.
rancor is my middleman 8) he found me tryrush deppy for $100

I'm just surprised that this thread has been sitting in the wrong sub-forum for so long.

If we start arguing about other people's choices, it'll be in the right forum again!

So what is Cannon Spike considered anyway? Just a top-down shooter like Smash TV or something?

Looks to be like that. It is classified as a "multi-directional shooter", which is something akin to Smash TV or a similar game on the Dreamcast known as Expendable (which I also have).

We had a hell of a time determining if Bangai-O and In The Hunt were shmups but since you can stop and shoot all around on those games it doesn't have auto-scroll so they're not "shmups".

But Cannon Spike was a FIGHTING move, so perhaps this was the right sub-forum to discuss this!
