so i just bought a modded psone from a fellow member recently to play the translated policenauts, are there any other translated games worth burning and playing?

I think its a dating sim.

but for the cost of one blank CD you can own it too.

I was going to say -- I'd think a "good" translation would ruin Symphony of the Night.

But if there are other PS1 translations out there that we're forgetting, I'd love to hear about them.

Policenauts! the spiritual sequel to snatcher, the translation is pretty good from what I've played. If you like visual novels and Kojima then you definitely want to check that game out.
