Silhouette Mirage is much better on the Saturn than that terrible ps1 Working Designs port.

Some Treasure goodness.

Yes! Definitely one of my favourites.
It's a great action/gun n' gun game. Though, I have to be in a certain mood to play it. I can be really nerve racking. Especially if you're starting a new game and trying to get a high enough score to get some decent weapons and suits. The escort mission is pretty horrible, too. Probably the game's only shortcoming.

Ninpen no Manmaru - nice, colorful 3D platformer
Hansha de Spark! - action/puzzler
Arcana Strikes - JRPG with card-based battles, can be followed with a translation FAQ
Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari - visually stunning platformer/RPG (HG101 did a nice write up on it a while ago)

Culdcept is awesome, too, if you know how to play it. something about that game just looks better on a 32-bit machine.

i also love both of the Gungriffon games. the second one controls and looks a bit better, imo (and it's a JPN exclusive title). same deal with the Gundam Side Story games (first-person mech shooters).

Crazy about SFA3 being expensive on the Saturn now. It was $20 for years. I guess people finally realized its worth and that it was the best version of the game. Capcom almost didn't release SFA3 on the Saturn. When they did, it just sat on store shelves. The Dreamcast and Playstation versions had already been out for awhile, if I remember correctly.
Frick.

I think I still have most of these games.

I really need to update my sales thread. (Which, still has Bulk Slash inside.)

One of the reasons Street Fighter Zero 3 is so fan-damn-tastic on the Saturn is because it is right up there with the DC version, and thus head and shoulders above the PS1 version (as impressive as it is) Combine the excellent port with the awesome Saturn controller and you have a recipe for but-whupping.

In that case, it sounds like you have no reason whatsoever to get SFZ3 on the Saturn. It is still an awesome game worth the price, however, even if you don't happen to need it in your collection.

The Saturn version is better than the DC version. They had to cut frames of animation on the DC one, where they are all totally there in the Saturn port. Also, the characters on the Saturn one are the original large size. They are smaller on the DC. Finally, the Saturn one runs at the same resolution as the arcade, and is the only port to do so.

Isn't the SS version the only one to allow P1 vs CPU/CPU? (The DC version had P1/P2 vs CPU.)

If you have more information on this, like links to comparative screen caps or videos, I'd like to see it, especially since there's no good technical reason for the DC version to be inferior in any way (doesn't mean it isn't, just that it would be stupid).
