I've felt this way in the past when I had trouble accepting rejection - putting all the faults upon the person who turns you down and their gender. It's really easy to do and feels good to say in the short-term, but in the long-term it's no way to keep living otherwise you're just living in a lie.

Sure girls these days can seem more shallow and shitty - but don't guys seem that way as well? You may seem like a totally dateable and reasonable guy but nothing's coming your way. Girls, and people, are much more complex than that though.

What I'm coming to realize in dating (and believe me I have a lot still to learn) is that you just HAVE to take risks, and really sell yourself. Think of getting a girl like applying for a job. Make yourself interesting and likeable. Sometimes you gotta compromise your dream girl with the type that exists. I dunno, but writing them all off as skanks and not worth your respect won't change the situation you're in.

I don't know where you're looking for girls, but you won't find one if you already have these preconceived notions. Out of all the guys I have dated, I never put out on the first date, nor do I have a tramp stamp. I have dated some hot guys, but I never trotted them out like show ponies for my friends approval. I am not into material things you can ask foxhound1022, I am an extremely low maintenance person. If we ever break up he can have everything; I don't want anything of his.

I have only dated one guy who hit mem and I fixed that shit real quick by tasing his ass in the junk, then kicking him while he was down. I believe if you give me respect, I will reciprocate.

It completely depends where you live. Southern California is a horrible place for relationships as superficiality is very high in men and women. Regardless of where you live, I wouldn't do online dating. C'mon, people are fake on "social networking" sites; why wouldn't they be completely fake on dating sites as well?
