To this day I don't understand why people talk so much shit about that game. I think it's a lot of fun.
I remember enjoying it when I played it when it came out.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
Still working on Disgaea 3. It got a bit harder in chapter 5. I'm actually having to do a little leveling now and am currently trying to balance out my party. Right now Mao can kill most enemies with one attack but everyone else in my party only does about 1/3 his damage..
I use walkthroughs if I am going for 100% completion. Or sometimes I use them near the end of games when I am sick of battling... Got pretty sick of battling in Tales of Graces f, haha. Good battle system but still..
I started a new game of Demon's Souls because my old one was stressing me out (loaded up my save game for the first time in 5 months... In the wolf tunnel) and I'm pleased that I don't suck as much as I thought I would. I got up to the first boss before turning it off, and I only died 5 times: twice to an enemy that I had never seen before (which basically one hit me) and then three times to sloppy BASE jumps. I recovered my souls every time, so no big deal. I'm playing as a Royal again, because Soul Arrow is ridiculous and I'm a wimp. The only thing I screwed up in my previous game afaik was killing that first NPC who gives you the spyglass, but I've rectified that now.
Couple questions: when exactly should I be holding one-handed weapons in two hands? Does holding a catalyst in both hands make my spells stronger? Should I be saving all my souls to level up, or is there equipment I should be looking at in the shops? (besides Grass when I need it) And finally, when the world tendency events end, I'll still be able to get Black and White tendencies, right? Even after the servers are shut down?
I can already tell that this game is going to be absolutely huge compared to part six and all the other past titles.
Still trying to get used to the controls and combat system. I just don't feel like I'm playing the game "correctly" yet, though I'm only a couple hours in.

I feel the same way about Xenoblade Chronicles in regards to combat. I haven't *quite* felt yet like I have really completely grasped the combat system. No matter though, it's great anyways.

I remember the first time I played a Tales of... game. I didn't figure out how to execute the characters' ultimate magic attacks until I was 50 hours in. I still facepalm when I think about that.
