About the watch-battery: Is that used simply to store the system settings and date & time? Or is it actually used to save games, like the Sega Saturn?
I'm wondering because that model of batteries is a little pricey, and if it's just to store the system settings and such, then I can do without them.

You'll be pleasantly surprized with what it can do.

On another note, you can use a PELICAN GBC ac adapter on the NGPC! Its a generic plug for gameboy color.
I have a purple and a blue one.
They work ok. But when you use them the system will constantly warn you that the 2032 battery is not working.

Yeah, I have seen the menu. It's not all that impressive, world times, a clock that doesn't work unless you're NGPC is actually powered on, some ridiculous inconsistent horoscope, and color scheme. I don't know what the deal is with mine, then. I bought the batteries brand-new at Walgreens, name brand: Energizer. They seemed to die quite quickly in my Dreamcast VMUs, as well. Yet my Saturn memory battery hasn't been replaced a couple years and it still works.flojocabron wrote:ouch!
