Out Zone is vertical, yeah! It's a vertical run 'n gun, sorta like Contra on Crack. You would pop 3 foot erections to the music in this game.
Fixeight looks legit too, very similar to Out Zone.

I have a question. This game does give you infinite continues... which is good, like
Gradius II on PS1 and PSP (and Vulcan Venture in arcade?)
But when you get to the final stage and die, are you REALLY expected to have to play the whole game again just to play the final stage?!?!? Because if that's the case, this game is worse than Gradius III. I can save since I'm using the PSP version, but really, you shouldn't rely on saving...
