Why the (comparatively) slow month, dsheinem?
Glad to see people picking up Xenoblade.

I dunno. I sorta feel like I am losing the collecting drive at present, but that's largely because I am fairly satisfied with the collection as is. My "Games Beaten" has fallen off a little bit this month, too, as has the amount of time spent with retro console games at all this year

Nothin' wrong with that. My "games acquired" lists are going to start shrinking too. Once I finish buying the last of my "must haves" I'm gonna chill out and take it easy, mainly by purchasing 3 or 4 expensive games each month as opposed to 20 or so cheaper games. There's also a couple of consoles I may look into buying before the year ends, so that will certainly affect my games budget as well.

I've gotten to be sort of like that, only even fewer games than you. I have very little left that I feel I absolutely must have, in addition to my life in general getting more expensive. All I badly want anymore is Portal 2, Starcraft 2, Half Life 3, and Snatcher.

Marykate and Ashley Olsen Sweet 16: License to Drive
FRIENDS: The one with all the trivia
JAWS Unleashed
I go the the cashier at GameStop, and place the three games on the counter with JAWS on top. I know the cashier really well (even saw him on my wedding night, but that's a different story), and the first thing he does is look at JAWS and says "Luke. Really?". I smile and nod.
Then he sees FRIENDS. He laughs. "Really?". Again I smile and nod. He picks up the copy of FRIENDS, sees the Olsen twins game and starts to laugh. "Jesus Christ. Luke, please tell me you have a gift card or that these are gag gifts". I tell Mason (the cashier) that they're for a shit-a-thon I'm having over the weekend.
Now here comes the interesting part. Mason goes on to tell me that he's been working with GameStop for seven years, and in seven years they've only had one copy of Friends and one copy of the Olsen Twins game. "For at least seven years those games have been sitting on the shelves, untouched".

Re: Games Acquired 2012
I have Jaws Unleashed haha. Though I tend to just pick up any cheap game based on horror movie license...
Re: Games Acquired 2012
JAWS is definitely horribly bad/good.
I'm a sucker for underwater games like ECCO (DC), Endless Ocean (Wii), and the like as I love the ocean but hate swimming in it (the ocean is like God's toilet that never gets flushed).
FRIENDS is a trivia game for hardcore FRIENDS fans, as I couldn't finish a level on easy. My friends are fans of FRIENDS, so it's a perfect game for the shit-a-thon.
SWEET 16 is just miserable. It's way better than BATMAN DARK TOMORROW, but that doesn't say much.

Gunstar Heroes-Genesis
Out of this World-Genesis
Ranger X-Genesis
Jackal-NES (In Box)
Thunder Spirits-SNES (In Box)
Demon's Crest-SNES
I got Demon's Crest insanely cheap, I think I started to tear up.
