Video Game "Look what I found"
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Plugged in the master system... Everything works. Had to use a NES rf switch and a generic power cord... But it does all work. The glasses are a mess... Tape, Popsicle sticks, pencils, busted input dock thing... But they work!

For the Input Dock, cut a piece of black plastic from a DVD case.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Im hoping to find a good replacement to the arms on te glasses. It seems that a pair of solar shields might be able to fit the bill. Have to do some measurements and searching but that's the plan. As for the card cover, I've done a few plastic repairs and should be able to work that out pretty easy.
But I also kind of love the repair job. It's exactly the kind of crap job I would have done when I was a kid and you can tell it was done a long time ago. The guy I bought it from was a 30 something like me and he laughed when I asked about it. He and his brother did the job years ago.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
There was a citywide garage sale not too far from me today so my dad and I took a drive over. All my dad found was some wrenches for a dollar but I think I was a bit more lucky
First find was an Ice Blue Nintendo 64, with two controllers, all hookups, and Mario Tennis. Marked $10, I didn't argue. Picked it up, will probably trade to a friend who has been wanting one or add it to the collection (though I love my Flame Orange one the most
)
Couple sales later I noticed a stack of empty plastic cases and sleeves for NES games. At the bottom of the stack there was one game in a case: Zelda II. I already own it but for $1 I couldn't pass it up. It's also in way better shape than mine. I asked the woman if she had any more games but she said that was the only one she could find (damn it
)
Finally I think I kinda overpaid on a Game Boy Pocket bundle. A red Game Boy Pocket was bundled with 5 games:
-Pokemon Blue
-Operation C
-Snoopy's Magic Show
-Motocross Maniacs
-Lock n Chase
It was marked $25. I offered $15 and they countered with $20. Normally I would have left it there, but I derped and thought the Contra game was kinda uncommon. Turns out that's a different one
So I paid the $20, but if I sell or trade the Pokemon it should pretty much reimburse me so I'm not *too* upset. Plus I'm keeping the Game Boy and Contra game for myself, because the screen is in really nice shape and I like Contra.
Edit for pic:

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who loves the Nintendo e-Reader.

I went on a hunting at my local Value Village and Goodwill Computer Works stores today. I bought a lot of items at market price, but I did pick up Grim Fandango (PC) and a boxed copy of Mutant League Hockey (GEN) for $2.25 each.

A great game still, but I'd have bought Blue. For some reason, Blue has slightly more content, yet GS sells White for $2 more >_>Onyxthecat wrote: Mega Man Battle Network 3 White
