This is the upcoming Action-RPG/beat 'em up by Vanillaware. Gameplay reminds me of other classic Vanillaware titles like Princess Crown as well as the classic D&D arcade titles.

Here's the trailer. The character designs are absolutely awesome/ridiculous.



Coming out next year on PS3/Vita. Easily my most anticipated game of 2013.

Well, as I said in the other topic that noise linked, I don't like the character designs. In fact, that's being quite polite. The truth is I think they're ugly as hell, and if the game weren't a beat 'em up I probably wouldn't be interested.

Thankfully it is a beat 'em up, and it looks like its going to be an awesome one.

Some of these characters took so many steroids, even their steroids are on steroids.

I'm excited if this can come close to the awesomeness that is d&d shadows of mystiria sign me up.

Also is there any word on if this is going to be a DL out physical release? I'm hoping for physical so I can get an art book for "research purposes"

I was always under the impression it would be a physical release on both platforms, PS3 and Vita.

I still need to get Princess Crown but it's an expensive game.

Gorgeous looking 2D (aside from aforementioned bizarre character design here and there) beat em up from the makers of Muramasa that I can co-op with? Sign me up.

I feel the same. I think this is really ugly compared to say Odin Sphere which is beautiful. Buttttttt, the gameplay is gonna rule. And I'm looking forward to co-op.
