Sonic Unleashed. Everything was good until......

The game still looks good. But when Sonic transforms into that hairy thing (I haven't saw that until now) it becomes a platformer. But I don't know, imagine this playing Sonic as a big kinda ape????. I was so happy to see this game but now that I saw this I'm gonna go back to just wait until it comes out. So I don't get destroyed as it happened when I played Sonic the Hedgehog on the 360.

i think it could be cool as long as they dont make the areas too long and they make it play more like ninja gaiden sigma (even if it will be slower)

The werewolf gameplay looks better than I thought it was gonna be. If that part of the game doesn't turn out to be good it still is no big deal because those levels are entirely separated from normal sonic levels. So basically it will be a minor Sonic Adventure-esque annoyance.

I seem to agree with everyone elses feelings about the Werehog(or whatever it is called). Seems like it can be a fun addition to the game. As long as the game doesnt play too heavily around it.
I think it would be neat if the Werehog plays out like a Knuckles type of character...so you can use melee attacks, glide and dig. It could be there way of throwing people that like the character heavy sonic games a bone. A lot of people seem to complain about not always wanting to play sonic in a sonic game....i unno.

I wasn't interested in werewolf transformation when Zelda did it, and I'm not interested when Sonic does it. I admit though that Werehog is a great word.

There is something disturbing about seeing Ninja Gaiden and Sonic being in the same sentence

The wolf thing in Zelda was so gimmicky. I mean those sections played just fine and there was even a cool boss against some sea monster I remember, but really. What was the point?

It seemed especially lame after playing Okami, where being a wolf was not a gimmick(it was also done much better)

I do see your point but, Ryu (or whatever his name is, i dont play ninja games to listen to the story damnit) and as most ninja's, are fast Sonic is fast, the games just offer different styles. If you have watched the trailer their is potential for a Ninja Gaiden style of play in the game, although at the moment it seems a little slow but who knows how the end result will be.

Those wolf fights look like something out of Dynasty Warriors, a series I've always liked. Seems a bit out of place in a Sonic game though. And now we're playing as a hedgehog...and a wolf? WTF?

The game looks cool though. It's got that fast paced feel, and while I feel that QTE sequences are being overused today, I think it'll fit in just right in a Sonic game
