Hyperdimension Neptunia
Re: Hyperdimension Neptunia
Ah, I had no idea. I see the same characters in this game. Are they not covering another console generation this time around? I was hoping for some retro action.

Yep. xDnoiseredux wrote:haha yeah the third game is called Hyperdimension Neptunia V. The second one still hasn't really pulled me in. But at the same time, calling the third game the fifth is exactly the kind of ridiculousness I like about the series.ZenErik wrote:V?Mephikun wrote:BUMP this up, Mk2 is out and V announced. Get out your PS3s (and wallets) everyone.
Man, I've gotta get this game.
There's a new character in V, Erik.

V is for Victory. You know, the peace/victory sign that every Japanese girl does in every picture they're in.Opa Opa wrote:V? 1, 2, 5?

I'm inclined to link all the Pururut and Iris Heart pics that are released here.
Re: Hyperdimension Neptunia
I totally get what you mean. I am like that about many games, not necessarily the art aspect, but I get attracted to games that are just..different.. on the surface. Maybe they were universally panned by critics and got a budget price cut a week after hitting the shelves, or maybe the game is just a complete unknown.
I know that I have played games that have been really really fun due to this experimenting - and once fun is what it's all about rather than the search for the perfect AAA game, my gaming became a cheaper and happier pastime for me.
I like most bad scoring games today, as they are often a lot of fun. Not always, but often!

I don't keep track of what the Japanese girls are doing.ZenErik wrote:V is for Victory. You know, the peace/victory sign that every Japanese girl does in every picture they're in.
I'll just leave this here:
Re: Hyperdimension Neptunia
Go ahead. I searched for Hyperdimension Neptunia V and clicked the first few links, but all I got was the same characters we already know in new outfits.Mephikun wrote:LOLZenErik wrote:V is for Victory. Re: Hyperdimension Neptunia
Eh, I prefer the cute characters over the huge breast characters. Do we know what they are supposed to represent? Which consoles or companies?
