I hate when I play an old game, and it suggests I go to a website that no longer exists. Just goes to show how old the internet is getting to be.

Not only that, but today's online-centric shooters are going to be worth about as much as a Phatnasy Star Online v2 disc.

Smiled - Both of the houses we are looking at have Charter HSD access (which is great because one of them cant get DSL). And both are well within our price range.

Ticked - We cannot buy a house until we are atleast engaged, per our families. We were asked to not get engaged until after my little brothers wedding in three weeks. The houses could be sold by then...

Thank goodness neither I nor my girlfriend have that kind of family. Unless you're borrowing money from any of them, why not just go ahead and do it anyway, and then just announce it in due time?

I don't know what your family situation is like, but if I were you I wouldn't let them boss me around like that. If you want to get engaged, get engaged. It's about you and her, after all, not them.

Traditional southern families are not ones you go against lightly. So going ahead and doing it is not an option. It is also out of respect for my little brother wedding. If we got engaged a couple weeks before it would take some of the magic out of the engagement and some of it out of the wedding.

I don't see why you can't just buy the house and tell everyone after you get engaged, sometime after the wedding.
