Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I was thinking about getting sfa3 on the saturn but its soo much cheaper on the dreamcast, and even cheaper in the streetfighter alpha collection on the ps2. Id rather spend my cash on unique games on the saturn

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I found an original PS2 with ethernet adapter at the flea market today for $20 and Arena Football Road to Glory for $1
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I've always heard that the saturn port of Alpha 3 was one of the better ports. Is it really that much better than the dreamcast one?ninjainspandex wrote:I was thinking about getting sfa3 on the saturn but its soo much cheaper on the dreamcast, and even cheaper in the streetfighter alpha collection on the ps2. The controller is WAY better on the Saturn.Godot102 wrote:I've always heard that the saturn port of Alpha 3 was one of the better ports. The resolution is closer to the arcade on the Saturn (larger sprites. The aspect ratio is stretched on the DC).

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I'm trying to build a nice little collection of 2d Japanese fighters for the saturn actually so I kinda had to get it. Next on my list is waku waku 7 or marvel super heroes vs street fighter. I'm leaning towards waku waku because I've got enough capcom fighters and want something new. But then again I've never played msh vs SF and cyber akuma does sound fun. Bree can you suggest some jpn only games for me that aren't in rackets guide?ninjainspandex wrote:I was thinking about getting sfa3 on the saturn but its soo much cheaper on the dreamcast, and even cheaper in the streetfighter alpha collection on the ps2. Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
The controller is better on the saturn only if you use dpad for fighters if you like a stick then dreamcast is better but i have a saturn to dreamcast converter anyway. What about the ps2 alpha antholgy one would think thats the best way to play sfa3.Breetai wrote:The controller is WAY better on the Saturn.Godot102 wrote:I've always heard that the saturn port of Alpha 3 was one of the better ports. Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
How is a DC better with a stick than the Saturn? Both have top-notch sticks available.ninjainspandex wrote:The controller is better on the saturn only if you use dpad for fighters if you like a stick then dreamcast is better but i have a saturn to dreamcast converter anyway. As for the PS2 version of SFA3... if you are using a CRT, the Saturn version is STILL better. Resolution issues is the reason. Other than that, the PS2 Anthology version is arcade perfect.
