I sold my Batsugun dup for $70 two weeks ago.

I sold my Garegga dup for $95 5 weeks ago.

Batsugun should be easily found $65-80, but def. not higher than that.

Garegga $110 max, $90-110 is the market on shmups forums.

Bah, I almost jumped on that Batsugun. I wish I would had known about the Garegga, but I've only recently really gotten into shmups.

Garegga is superb. It is possibly the best shmup evar (I think it won greatest shmup of all time over on shmups forum again last year). Great ship selection, chaining, fast paced but not chaotic and the better you do the harder the game becomes. A truly great game - but yeah dude, hold off on it because once you get it - you need to sink 8-10 weeks into that thing. It is that good imo.

Yeah, I think I'm really hooked on shmups, now. It's probably my next favorite genre to fighters.

I've noticed you gotta have deep pockets to get all the good stuff.

honestly though i think my favorite shmup of all time would have to be dodonpachi or batsugun, im not a fan of rank. i hate having to avoid powerups i mean thats what makes shmups fun are the power ups.

That's why I like the Raiden series, once you get fully powered up, there's just a ridiculous amount of weapons fire coming from your fighter.

I prefer DDP over pretty much all verticals, but... I haven't really put much time into Garegga or RSG. I was playing some Garegga on my Saturn earlier tonight though... then put in Strikers II and had more fun. I was just playing through to shoot stuff and make explosions, though. Maybe if I went really hardcore I'd get into Garegga more.

Battle Garegga is some good times, but I'm always loving me some of that Strikers series too -- fantastic games.
