Is Puzzle Bobble Mini and Bust-A-Move Pocket (both on Neo Geo Pocket Color) the same game?

No problem. Puzzle Bobble is the PAL name for Bust-a-move. I own PB Mini myself, its pretty fun.

Me too, Gamefaqs has all the facts.
But alot of cheat codes are missing especially for Japanese games. :(

Bust-A-Move Pocket is the USA type. As having an ESRB rating suggests.

I own the Japanese version and enjoyed playing it. However, since I am colorblind, this is the one version of Puzzle Bobble I own that I cannot properly play. Maybe it's something about the resolution or the screen itself, but distinguishing the colors can be very difficult once they start turning pastel in later levels. Other versions of the game have more discernable patterns inside the balls that make them easier to identify, even when the colors confuse my eyes.
