In light of all the rumors surrounding Karma returning tomorrow night, I thought I'd post some videos of the Awesome Kong/Gail Kim feud. I'm taking a page out of BurningDoom's book here. Watch these and then think of the state of WWE's current women's division and the current state of TNA in general. Think about this feud the next time you see a shitty Kelly Kelly match. Hopefully, anyone watching this for the first time will see how awesome Gail Kim was and how wasted she was in the WWE. I'm not a TNA expert or anything, but with this feud I know I can say I've seen some of the best TNA has had to offer in its history. I also love that this is such a perfect example of how to do David vs Goliath type matches, and it's the ladies showing you how it's done. I kind of hope this will inspire others to put up other awesome feuds that maybe I haven't seen or don't even know about

If you watched the pre-show, Miz lost a US title match to Santino Marella

Wow, am I in bizarro world? I love Santino, but still, wow.

Crack you smoke. Extreme Rules, um, ruled. A few hiccups.... Ziggler should not be jobbing to Brodus Clay and Beth Phoenix cannot act, but it was an above average PPV. Both World Title matches delivered and Cena/Lesnar is an instant classic.

1. Mostly predictable outcomes
2. Cena/Lesnar match didn't end the way it should have. They effectively killed Lesnar's momentum tonight
3. Pretty bad divas match, and instead of Karma we got Layla
4. Time wasted on stupid Ryback match that didn't belong on a pay per view
5. Sheamus/Bryan match was good, but shorter than it should have been. The finish to that match was crap and very anti-climactic
6. More timed wasted on pointless Brodus Clay match that was no different than any of his other crappy TV matches. Ziggler was wasted here once again.
7. Weird promo from Cena to end the show that didn't make any sense, like most of his promos
8. Weird finish to Big Show/Cody Rhodes match. Almost looked like a botch

Best part of the show was Punk/Jericho. Jericho going after Punk's sister was brilliant. No one heels it up like Jericho. The Sheamus/Bryan match could have been classic given more time to build up to a better finish.

Overall, it felt like a glorified episode of Raw. Average pay per view, nothing of note happened

I may sound jaded, but I'm kind of sick of big returns amounting to nothing. Lesnar just lost his first match since his return and Jericho still hasn't had a win since he came back either. WWE just doesn't know how to build momentum or build anything up properly

I love Jericho's work, but I'm disappointed that since his return he has been the same Jericho he was before he left. He talks a big game, but then jobs out constantly. I know you can't have him beat Punk in Chicago of all places, but maybe they should have just given Jericho a win at Mania. You can't make all this fuss about big names like Jericho and Lesnar coming back and then just have the guys lose their matches. Building up stars, WWE just can't get this right anymore

If Cena really is leaving, then Brock should have destroyed him AND won the match. This was bad booking.

I really enjoyed Punk/Jericho's match. I hate that Jericho lost AGAIN, but I tend to think those "if Punk loses we riot fans" aren't joking, so I guess WWE made the right call there. With two losses to Punk though, Jericho looks VERY weak right now.

I really wish Bryan and Sheamus had a bit more time. It was all great until the finish. I hate when a face gets his ass kicked the entire match and then just gets a second win, beats down the heel and nails a brogue kick to end the match. That was lame. That third fall should have been a long time in coming and should have been more hard fought for Sheamus. I'm tired of super hero faces (looking at you Cena) who can just go super saiyan at any time during a match and bust out an easy win. The hero should have to bust his ass for a victory. WWE is too heavily biased towards faces. We need to get away from Hulk Hogan era booking.

I love Layla. Seriously, she's gorgeous and fun and I've got a serious crush on that woman, but her match just seemed off and the crowd wanted Karma. Eve even through the fact that Karma wasn't there in our faces in that backstage bit. Ah well, guess I'll just go watch those videos I posted of the Gail Kim/Awesome Kong feud again as I wait forever for Karma to make her WWE return.

If I sound kind of harsh towards this event, it may be because I'm starting to get a little annoyed at the price point for these shows. I can watch two back to back movies on demand for ten bucks total, but it cost me fifty bucks for a WWE pay per view. It really puts a dent on my wallet and I'm starting to feel a bit more demanding towards these shows given their high price

Fifty bucks!?! I hope you mean that was the actual ticket price for being there. I remember buying Summerslam 2010 on Sky Box Office for £14.95 (about $24) and feeling ripped off. Considering it comes out for less than that on DVD?! It's £50 a month to watch any WWE in the UK so paying for a PPV on top of that is ridiculous, and I don't know anybody who pays for it other than when Wrestlemania is on.

I watch Raw on Youtube when I get the chance, I have access to TNA on television as its free, but TNA sucks.

Am I just being cheap?

Not at all. I also watch Raw and Smackdown on Youtube and catch the PPVs on free live streams, lol.

Extreme Rules was entertaining, not the best but definitely not the worst. Rumors have been circulating that Cena will be taking some time off to heal some persistent injuries.

In other news, Ziggler's responded to Keith again:

I was at Meltdown this past weekend when Keith taped footage for his next rebuttal. It's going to be epic!

The backwards booking aside, the actual main event match was tremendous in telling the story they were going for. The angle itself was bad booking, horrible timing and pretty short-sighted - but the in ring stuff was fantastic.

I was really looking forward to Monday Night RAW featuring Brock Lesnar - they really booked themselves quickly into a corner with the Edge stuff and those contract demands. Just dumb writing. I absolutely hate the A.D.D. booking they do nowadays.

For a personal interest standpoint, I'm now less inclined to see Brock's next PPV. Yes, he looked strong throughout and it was a fluky loss (legit chain shot to the face with some nice blood too) after he was arrogant, etc. The first half of the match had me legitimately curious into wtf was going on with the elbows to the head and all the blood. Once Cena refused to tap I knew we were starting to go into Super Cena mode but I really thought Lesnar would have eventually killed him. There is no money in a rematch here since Cena won and Lesnar is the heel.

I guess Vince's ultimate goal of getting face heat for Cena worked though.

Hey HCore WWE fans,

Anyone want to catch me up on what happened over the weekend? I'm a casual watcher of MNRAW and forgot there was even a PPV over the weekend.
