oh boy....2012 has actually been a relatively quiet game buying year thus far. I HAVE bought a Playstation Vita and the following games:

Boxed:

Uncharted
Lumines
Wipeout

DL:

Disgaea 3
Plants VS Zombies
Escape Plan
Rayman Origins
Hustle Kings
Motorstorm RC
Super Stardust Delta
Mutant Blobs Attack

I've also bought 2 new NES controllers and Life Force and TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project at a new local retro game store

some random titles on PSN too I'm sure...just picked up the original Red Faction on psn last night as a ps2 classic

UPDATE 04/25/12:

1. Lunar: Silver Star Story (PS1)
2. Spore (PC)
3. Einhander (PS1)
4. Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)
5. Super Castlevania IV (SNES)
6. Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (DS) *NEW*
7. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS) *NEW*
8. Punch-Out!! (Wii) *NEW*
9. Rogue Galazy (PS2) *NEW*
10. Kieth Courage in Alpha Zones (TG16) *NEW*
11. Lair (PS3) *NEW*
12. Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (PS3) *NEW*
13. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (PSP) *NEW*
14. Adventure (2600) *NEW*

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light

I've been craving a retro Final Fantasy fix, but something I haven't played before, so hopefully this game satisfies.

Spirit Tracks/Punch-Out!!

My girlfriend got these for me as a surprise because she wanted me to earn enough Club Nintendo points to get the Game and Watch reproduction. When I asked her why she didn't just get cheaper games, she said if she was going to buy any they might as well be good ones. :D

Rogue Galaxy

I've been sort of wanting to try Rogue Galaxy since it came out but just never picked it up. I couldn't resist buying a copy when I glanced at the case and saw it had fallen to only five bucks.

Kieth Courage in Alpha Zones

For some reason, I can't find a TG16 game I don't like, even the mediocre ones feel worthwhile, so I usually grab them when I see them.

Lair/Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Picked these up with a giftcard I still needed to use from Christmas.

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

I never had the chance to play the PS1 version, but thought the concept sounded really interesting.

This game kicks ass. Probably the best original (non-reissue/remake) FF game released in the past decade.

I feel the same way about TG16 games. Every game feels like an authentic Japanese classic, the console wasn't flooded with movie-based titles and shovelware like the SNES and Genesis were.

I've had my eye on this for some time. Looks fantastic.

Good stuff guys (and gals).

I'm pretty behind the times now. I haven't stopped picking up games, but I've stopped listing them since Feb. Man, it's gonna take me hours to list them all now. :(

I just got a Neo Geo Pocket Color! I was expecting something around the size of the Game Boy. I really love the feel of the thumbstick, and the sound is fantastic.

I got with the handheld and just bought the following games:

-Bust-A-Move Pocket
-Dark Arms: Beast Buster 1999
-Fatal Fury: First Contact
-King of Fighter R-2
-Pac-Man
-Samurai Shodown! 2: Pocket Fighting Series
-SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium
-Sonic Pocket Adventure

I still plan on getting Metal Slug 1st Mission & 2nd Mission.

I know I know  The price and condition were too good to pass up, plus I've been on a pinball kick lately.

Glad you liked the NGPC BurningDoom, I need to work on that collection myself...

Bone's games of April 2012:

Adventures to Go! (PSP)
Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland (PS3)
Breath of Fire (GBA)
Dark Souls (PS3)
Dive Alert: Matt's Version (NGPC)
Enduro Racer (SMS)
Final Fantasy XI: Vana'diel Collection 2008 (PC)
Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3)
Gran Turismo (PS)
Grandia (PS)
The Granstream Saga (PS)
Gungriffon Blaze (PS2)
The Legend of Dragoon (PS)
The Legend of Oasis (Saturn)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS)
Lost Odyssey (Xbox 360)
The Ninja (SMS)
Omega Race (2600)
Puzzle Star Sweep (PS)
R-Type (SMS)
Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (Xbox 360)
Super Thunder Blade (Genesis)
Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2 [JPN])
Towering Inferno (2600)
The World Ends With You (DS)
Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)
Ys Seven (PSP)

I don't think there's ever been another month where I bought so many games. I kinda splurged at PAX East. I'm almost overwhelmed by all this stuff.

During May and June I'm gonna work on getting all the current gen stuff I want. The remainder of the year will be solely dedicated to retro finds.
