I can say about 80% of my current collection was found in “the wild”. Flea markets, yard sales, CL pickups, auction houses, old unwanted stuff from friends and family. I estimate that I may have spent less than 10% of the total market value of everything, so I've done well.

Re: Jmustang's Gameroom and Collection
You know that feeling you get when first see that super cute, super gorgeous girl walk into your classroom, holding her books with her arms crossed at her chest? That is the same feeling I get when I see this collection. I'm crushin' pretty hard here. ...I know she's taken though.
Your PS1 and PS2 collection is strikingly similar to mine but I'm lovin' everything else. Where did you find that boxed blue N64? I want one! Or any other for that matter, except green (I already have a boxed one).

Thing's that I'm looking for at the moment: Super Mario RPG manual(SNES), Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals map and cart(SNES), The King of Dragons Box and manual(SNES), Lufia and the fortress of doom CIB(SNES), Earthbound CIB(SNES), EVO: The Search for Eden CIB(SNES), Harvest Moon CIB(SNES), Mario Paint CIB(SNES), Bomberman Party Pak With Super Multitap(SNES), DoReMi Fantasies CIB(SFC).

Damn dude~ You are most certainly the most thorough person I've seen with detailing their collection. Musta taken a helluva long time to take + post that many pix. Good show!

Really nice TV stand for the CRT - nice spacing for your systems with plenty of room to handle the wires.

Well thanks. The initial effort took a few hours but it was fun. The rest of the effort is easy. As I get a new item I clean it and immediately snap a pic of it before it goes on the shelf. Then about every month I upload the latest pics.
Yeah, I saw the ad for it and knew immediately that it would work perfectly in that room. I really enjoy how well it works with that setup.retrosportsgamer wrote:Really nice TV stand for the CRT - nice spacing for your systems with plenty of room to handle the wires.

Re: Jmustang's Gameroom and Collection
Well, I am about to have the unfortunate task of packing up both of my game rooms. My washing machine flooded and my utility room is upstairs for some dumb reason. There was damage to the hallway flooring outside and into 2 adjoining bedrooms. The hallway is connected to my main gameroom as well. Basically all the carpeting upstairs will be removed and replaced.
While getting new carpet will be nice, the amount of work ahead of me is daunting. I have to disconnect all of my consoles and computers. I then have to remove all my games from their shelves and displays. This is going to be like moving my house but tougher as I have to shuffle them around rooms as the work is done on them... whew.
