I'm glad we drew the line at Skylanders.

This makes me sick. You should have seen this coming, and you should be ashamed for supporting it.

Oh and I'd like to thank Ubisoft for whoring out the new Rayman as quickly as possible. Real class act.

Oh gee, how lovely.

Should have known something like this would happen. This is Ubisoft we're talking about.

I'm guessing you guys haven't played origins? It looks like I'm going to be buying a Wii U then if this is an exclusive since origins is one of the best games this gen.

(yes, sometimes I'm 3 hours behind the internet)
"Purely demonstrative...." The fact that more companies are even considering following the Skylanders model is proof enough to me that it is poison to the industry. And I know I'm not the only one that thinks the new engine is a decided step backwards from the hand-drawn look of Origins.

I'm guessing we didn't just watch the same video, because adding Rabbids would kill any interest I might have in this game.

I don't know what the problem with rabbits is? But I think the graphics look amazing from what I just saw.

I'm concerned about the Wii U. :?

I do like the way the new game's graphics look though.

I dont see the problem with this. I thought it looked like fun and I really have no issue with the added figures. Seems neat to me.

I WiiU supports that kind of "Skylanders tech" out of the box. Nowhere did they say you'll need to buy figures to play the game. If anything, it looks kind of like physical DLC to me. I would think old school collector types could really get behind that (opposed to digital DLC).

If it sells then it means that customers want it and are happy with it. I see nothing wrong with that.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

If I wanted to spend more money on the games than the console itself... Well, I already have a Saturn.
