Yeah, about to post that my 3DS just told me to update and ask what it was for. Thanks for the info!
Edit: Holy Toadsworth that update's helpful. Before, I had 53 icons spread out over two pages on the most zoomed out setting. Now I have 15 that fit neatly into a single 5x3 page.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Just got Kid Icarus Uprising yesterday, and beat Snake Eater. Never played the latter on PS2, so that was a fun new experience. Not having the radar wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I like the idea of switching out camo and having to treat your wounds. Only problem I had was that everything from the first Volgin fight to the final boss was incredibly tedious and frustrating. Everything moved around too much and was too bumpy for the rail-shooter part, the sniping sequence you had 10 seconds to target a single pixel, the Shagohod fight was frustrating, and so was the final escort mission, where your charge would pass out from exhaustion every 3 seconds. I actually found it was easier to tranq her, then drag her across the forest.
But that final boss fight more than makes up for it. Holy shit.

I like this update. I threw everything that I could in a folder. Now I only have 4 icons on the home screen.ksloth wrote:New update is pretty great.made me realize just how many icons I had on the screen. 71!

I like to keep the four streetpass/spotpass heavy apps out of folders so that I can see the green/blue dot easily.

Sorry to tease you guys, but all this excitement over the folder update (a necessary update mind you) reminded me of this very old comic

Meh, I guess to someone who hasn't used the folders yet would be skeptical. The equivalent would be if your collection of games for *insert console you have 50+ games for* were all in a jumbled mess, but now they're in alphabetical/ genre-ical/ personal order.ZeroAX wrote:Sorry to tease you guys, but all this excitement over the folder update (a necessary update mind you) reminded me of this very old comic![]()

I hope newer updates will add different colors to folder and more letters instead of just one.

I think the point he's making is that folders are not new or revolutionary. This is something that probably should have been there from the get go.GameMasterGuy wrote:Meh, I guess to someone who hasn't used the folders yet would be skeptical.
