Super Mario Advance 4 for $7.50, and knowing the price heights that game can go on there, it's a freaking steal. Too bad it's out to be a bust at this rate. My only hope is that it actually did ship without any kind of notification, which has happened in the past.GameMasterGuy wrote:What game, and how cheap did you find it?

I'll have to check the values on my GBA games, I have SMA 2-4, M&LSSS, and a few other first party titles laying around. NEver thought they'd be worth anything nowadays, since they're too modern to be retro and too retro to be modern.ExedExes wrote:Super Mario Advance 4 for $7.50, and knowing the price heights that game can go on there, it's a freaking steal. Oh yeah I absolutely love the Tales series. Picked of Tales of Destiny 2 (the Japanese PS2 game) at PAX East and I'm going to get Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology and Graces f later this year. I'd like to one day own all the North American games at least, but damn Tales of Destiny II (aka Tales of Eternia) is getting expensive these days.brunoafh wrote:Enjoy, I friggin loved that game. Excellent in pretty much all aspects, definitely one of the best JRPGs this gen. I'm sure you'll like it.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Tales of Vesperia

Yeah I picked up Tales of Destiny II (US) quite awhile back, it's always been fairly expensive for as long as I've known. Not sure what I thought of the bit I played of Destiny, but some seem to like the second one a lot more I believe.

You'd be surprised. Pretty much anything GBA made by Nintendo is going for $10 and up, mainly from the Mario, Zelda, and Metroid series.GameMasterGuy wrote:I'll have to check the values on my GBA games, I have SMA 2-4, M&LSSS, and a few other first party titles laying around. But it ends up being a smile now -- the seller finally contacted me, and will ship the game tomorrow and apologized for the inconvenience. They made things right.

Smile: I am moving out of QA and into Game Design at my job as soon as we get to alpha in a couple weeks.
Nothing ticked me off today, and nothing is gonna!

Yesterday I went in for a hemoglobin a1c test (blood sugar index over a three month period, diabetes thing).
Back in January when I first got sick and landed in the hospital, they tested me and came up with a 15% a1c, which is ridiculously, dangerously high.
This morning, I got a phone call from the diabetes specialist at my doctor's office. They already have my results from yesterday, 5.7% percent, which is fantastic. I would have found out the results next week anyway, but she was excited enough about my improvement that she made it a point to call and congratulate me.
Feels good!
