True, but you've already played it in its original form more than once. Might be time to give the GC one a try for something a little different, but however you choose to enjoy this great game is fine by me. Skies is probably in my top five rpgs, it reminds me a lot of Grandia.jalvarez82 wrote:Yes. I truly love this game to death. Its very hard for me to get sick of playing lol. I just stopped playing, and I've already beaten the green Giga and made over 20 discoveries, which Iam trying to stay on top of and report right away.
I know all about the GC and all its enhancements and extra content. And I will try it out one day...but Ive always been a purist. And I believe every game is best enjoyed on its original platform.
playing Skies Of Arcadia (DC) for the 3rd time!

One of my favorite RPG's. The random battles can get a bit annoying though

I'm gonna get a perfect game on the DC version this time. I'm gonna go ahead and buy the GC version asap, just so I have it for the next time I wanna play the game, which will prolly be a few years from now. lolGamerforlife wrote:you've already played it in its original form more than once. Skies is a great game! I understand playing it multiple times. First RPG I ever played was Grandia, which I got on a whim in '99 on Playstation because the store didn't have the game I went for. I finished it a few months later and started a second playthrough right away. Last month I played through Dragon Force twice back to back (Mikhail then Goldark scenarios), I've had it for years and always go back to it.
This game when it came out didn't get enough attention for bringing the console RPG into the next generation. Games like Evolution were more akin to PSX or Saturn RPGs for me, while this one brought huge environments and full 3-d like what would become typical on the PS2.

Re: playing Skies Of Arcadia (DC) for the 3rd time!
I need some advyse!
I wanna make sure that I save my game at a point in the story where I can still fly around and enjoy the world of Arcadia BEFORE it's too late and the game ends. At what point in the story do you guys suggest I make a "new block" save in order to do this before there is no turning back?
Thanks.
If it means that I'll no longer have my Crescent Isle base, than so be it. I just wanna take my time and enjoy all the game has to offer before ending it. That's one things that I dislike about Skies. It ends! It would be awesome if you could keep ruling the skies (even keep leveling or something) long after you beat Ramirez and save the world.
