Couple of thoughts...
First, I like FlingSmash. It's not perfect but it's worth the $8 I bought it for used at Gamestop. I'd have been happy with $20, but I'm weird. Great menus and a good theme song. Controls can be touchy but as a player try to keep your actions moderate, deliberate, and don't forget to 'freeze' the ball with the A button to line up shots.
Wiimotes...
Motionplus is the only way to go at this point. What I'd probably do is keep only the minimum number of Wiimotes or Wiimote+s that you can get by with now. Trade in the rest (yes, Wiimote+ is much more comfortable to use for me than a Wiimote with motion plus attachment, and I certainly don't want to fish out an attachment every time I want to play Skyward Sword). I received about $15 from Gamestop for trading in a Wiimote+ recently. Not sure what the older Wiimotes are worth. But my thought is that since it is confirmed that the Wii U will continue to use Wiimotes, I would want to have as few as possible now in the case that a slightly enhanced version is released this holiday. Because I know I'll want those if they come to be. By the same token, I think it is entirely possible that a new Classic Controller variation will be released with the WiiU that is wireless and possibly includes analog shoulder buttons for full GameCube Virtual Console compatibility, therefore I traded in a couple unused Classic Controller Pros a couple months ago.

Re: wii mote vs wii motion plus controller
well that all depends, its no good unless you have games that require it
well
wii motion plus built in remote-more compact, less calibrating
wii motion plus attachment-bulky, more calibrating.
I think having it built in saved batteries mabye
I wouldnt trade in 4, but the 4 wii motion plus will lose value when the new ones become more popular.

Re: wii mote vs wii motion plus controller
Yeah they are bulky when the have the PLUS attached.
I got my wii with them built in. I
Its one of those things that you dont notice untill you have or dont have it.
My friend has them with the orginal motion plus and I really dont like them. Cause I started my wii playing with it built in.
The motion plus comes with a rubber shell when you get them new. Dont know how they work without them on the wiimote. Dont know if they pop off, but with the rubber attachment its much more snug. They dont need extra batteries since they use the same batteries from the wiimote.
When you buy a wii motion plus built in, it automatically comes with the rubber shell.
My opinion is to keep at least one wii mote classic. If you have any little kids the big long wii mote may be too big for their hands. A regular wii mote will work regardless just for picking a screen on the wii menu. My friend has 4 long wiimotes and another one without it (no rubber case). He left one without it so his 6 year old daughter can watch netflix easily.
If you can, try to find the games that come with the motion plus attachment already (Big boxes with game and +). After all this time they may be clearance already. I've seen the Red Steel 2, Tiger woods golf and Fling smash.
Just the size difference is the only big deal!
