Hey Dsh. Remember when you said they would not get even 30k?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

100,000 should happen in the next two weeks.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I know for a fact, personally, that every single friend I have who liked it will not buy it. All three of them pretend to be gamer nerds, but haven't ever made it past a copy of Bayonetta, let alone past this generation.

Yep, totally not my point.

Facebook activism is silly.

Any one care to explain why so many gamers want MML3 so badly? It's Mega Man, 2D platforming is what he does. All the clips that I have seen from the MML2 havent been very compelling. Is it really that good when you get into it?
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Your reaction to them is pretty similar to what most megaman fans thought of the games when they first came out. They developed a cult following later.

It's more of a Zelda clone with guns + memorable characters and story, and that's why people like them so much. They're honestly really good games, but they aren't anything like the 2D megaman games. The big cult fanbase it developed kinda took me by surprise, since for a long time I thought I was the only one who genuinely liked them.

I actually enjoyed Legends. I got a little annoyed with MML2, but I think that was when my 'gamer' attitude was starting to slow down. Doesn't mean it was a bad game, I just kinda stopped playing.

But if MML3 were to come out, I'd play through them again. I know 1 was pretty fun.

Haven't played either of them (I know, I've even played Star Force, but neither Legends game, shame on me), but apparently MML2 is... popular, to say the least:

Legends 2 is fine. They're both excellent and I loved every second of them.

As much as I'd like to see a solid MML3, it's not going to happen, regardless of how many likes the facebook page attains. Capcom doesn't give a fuck about us, Mega Man is dead, end of story.

Yeah, the odds of it happening are zero. That is a thing that is known.

But the point of the group was stick it to Capcom for blaming the fan community for the death of MML3. They claimed that involvement on the games page on the Capcom site was too small - so the Internet then made that page one of the most active.

Capcom might not be a company that gives a crap about fan reaction anymore, but at least it's nice to have a tangible example of how wrong their reasons for cancelling the game were.

The numbers are impressive, even if we all know it's not gonna happen without Keiji Inafune at Capcom anymore. I'm proud to say I'm one of those numbers, and joined way back when there was still a chance and Keiji was still there.
