Did one of the Road Rash games let you save?

I thought so, but I can't remember for sure.

That makes sense, with all the bike customization you could do.

I think I only ever played the 2nd one.

Oh, and if they weren't mentioned, the Shining Force and Phantasy Star games allow you to save to a battery... but they aren't really short games.

I was raised on the fifth generation, and yet I'm the only one to realize how to correctly write those down?
..ABCDE
1XOOOX
2OXOOO
3XOOOX
4XOOXO
5OOXOX

Should be written down as:
A134
B2
C5
D4
E135

NOT as re-creating the grid and filling in all the dots. It makes saving much faster, and much less painful. This was especially useful in 4-6, where the programmer streamlined it into having about six dots per password from the ridiculous ones made by MM3. MM7 and MMX took steps backward with 16-digit numerical passwords, but eh, it was sort of a necessity due to more variables needing to be saved.
