The Plague Dogs
If it weren't for Cracked including this in an article, and elmagiochrisg giving me a link to it online, I don't know if I would have ever watched this movie. Anyway, it's a good movie, well worth watching. High quality animation for sure. And of course, the story is excellent and succeeds in producing the reactions it sets out for. It's interesting watching a seemingly kiddie cartoon movie that features blood, gore, and language, but there's so much more that's worthwhile here than just the spectacle.

You've seen Watership Down right?

I usually see Plague Dogs mentioned in reference to that movie.

No, actually. Now that I've seen Plague Dogs, I do want to see it. I know that my library has it, so it'll be easy to get ahold of.

I've never seen Plague Dogs (I've wanted to though), but Watership Down is quite good.

Quaker owned Wonka candy, I'm not sure if that's still the case or not.

Turns out Quaker owned Breaker Confections, which would make the Wonka line of candy until 1988, when it was purchased by Nestle.

I watched Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST for the first time last night. This was one of those very rare times that I didn't thoroughly enjoy a Disney film. It lacked something intangible that I can't put my finger on. The songs were all fine and well, but they seemed to lack any emotion and were always telegraphed. The movie plays out almost as if was a test run for the Broadway musical.

Again there is nothing wrong with the film, it just lacks that Disney charm and spark.

Cabin in the Woods

I promised Luke a full review when I got home. But I can't do that guys. Saying anything about this movie would be a spoiler. So let me just say this. It is mind-blowingly brilliant. Anyone who considers themselves to be horror movie fans needs to see this post-haste. Wow.
