Yes it does self boot burns, but not imports. You have to region patch them to work!xdanxx wrote:you dont need a modchip to play the burned games, they are completely selfbootable on there own? If so that sounds great. thanks for the tips guys.

It may have more good games, but thats not to say that the 32x is totally bereft of good games - Knuckles Chaotix, Kolibri, Star Wars Arcade & Blackthorne come to mind. Theres certainly more on the MegaCD, but the 32x is worth owning too.otaku wrote:Sega CD for sure. It actually has some good games to play.

The only issue is the ammount of money that's willing to be spent. When you try to add both the CD and the 32X to the Genesis, it ends up being a much larger investment than I would personnally pay. I would recommend getting the CD and then move on to Saturn, and only go for the 32X if you have plenty to spend.Bootaaay wrote:It may have more good games, but thats not to say that the 32x is totally bereft of good games - Knuckles Chaotix, Kolibri, Star Wars Arcade & Blackthorne come to mind. Re: sega cd or 32x?
major import library of decent games for the scd, as well.
i liked the 32X, though. i had one at launch. tempo, metal head and star wars arcade were worth the price of admission for me, and i think that the titles that were released on other systems were much better overall on the 32X (blackthorne, virtua racing, virtua fighter, pitfall, mortal kombat II, nba jam te, after burner, space harrier, etc)
