Were you under the impression that most folks DO smoke here Harper? Flex was the ONLY person that mentioned it.

Maybe instead we should fine out who DOES smoke weed, since it is the holiday and all.

But that might be against forum rules, and I know some people really dislike stoners... so maybe calling them all out would not be such a great idea.

I personally don't care if you all know though
I know Flex was the only one who mentioned it earlier but there have been many other conversations about it at other times/in other threads. I was just curious, not that it really matters.

It was just over $11.00 for 65 bags, so dumb math off the bat tells me I paid less than $0.20 a bag, which I'm fine with. Economies of scale certainly exists in garbage bag sales as the going price for 30 bags was a bit over $8.00.

I've never been so excited about garbage before.
Toilet paper and garbage bags are two everyday use products that you should never try to skimp or save on. Whatever marginal savings you make is NOT worth the trade off.

I await your impressions of the bags. A full review is in order.

@Harper: Nothing wrong with being curious, I must have just missed those threads. I never see people talking about it here, thus my confusion. :)

@Sevin: Of course you would not find any fun in it, you've never tried it :P

Kidding, kidding. I am going to get myself in trouble. Flex brought up the subject on the wrong day

Happy 4:20 for you stoners out there, if there are any of you!

Fenway Park had its first game 100 years ago today, and Wrigley Field (then called Weeghman Park) had it's first 98 years ago today.

Also today is Adolf Hitler's 123rd birthday. Hope you're having fun in hell, Führer!

I'll add paper towels, napkins, and laundry detergent to that list. Cheap laundry detergent smells awful and doesn't really clean clothes. Plus, again, buy in bulk save tons of money.

I'll be sure to provide a Michi-esque review of Glad vs. Glad Force Flex. Since it is Friday I'll be having friends over for brews and chews, so as soon as tonight I can test out Force Flex.

Most of the reason being is that it sounds like the Slims are better built than the Fats. And also, I have the 40GB Fat. I have to upgrade the hard drive soon (I have about 4GB left lol) which could be as much as $100, half the cost of buying a Slim.

The 160GB Slim is $200 at LameStop, and if you buy it this week you get MK Komplete Edition for free (a game I want to get). The used 40GB Fats sell for about $200 on LameStop's site, so does that mean I would get about $100 for it? If so, then I could get the Slim AND the game for only $100... not a bad deal at all.
flex wood wrote:I'm in the exact same boat zig. I would guess Gamestop would give 80 at most trade in on a 40 gig. I've been thinking about selling my 40 and a few games on craigslist actually. I'm just really not looking forward to transferring all my data so I've been putting it off for a few months now. One of these days I'll just do it though.
I'm not worried about transferring the data. I have an external USB HDD enclosure and plenty of spare hard drives, so I can back up the data off my 40GB drive easily. What I have to think about is the cost though. If GameStop would only give me $80 for my PS3, that's kinda lame (they sell it for $210). If I sell it on the forums here I could possibly get more, but it'll take more time. I'll have to lay out the cash first (the deal at GameStop with the free game is only good for a week). I'm kinda leaning toward yes. I might call up GameStop or go down there and ask how much I'll get for my PS3.

The way I look at it is this: The 160GB PS3 Slim is $200. It comes with the MK game which is $50, so you can kinda look at the console only costing $150. Then if I get $80 for my PS3 40GB, the Slim will only have cost me $70. So it's not a bad deal at all. And also, I need to get a larger hard drive for my PS3 anyway, so that $70 would be the cost of a hard drive.

I was lying just a few days ago, then. I wonder what I actually ate...
