When it comes to fan-made games and their release promises, I take a "I'll believe it when I see it" approach. People who aren't paid to do these things seem to lack the discipline to stick with it.

Also, lol @ Sonic fanbase.

I agree with the exception of Sonic 1 Megamix and SRB2. They are still being worked on. Even if they don't get completed, the teams on both make sure that their releases are completely playable. Despite SRB2 being under development since 1998, the online multiplayer aspect is completely playable and is the most fun feature of the game. The single player levels have come a long way since STJr's August 2006 release but it's been taking forever, with a huge multiplayer update with the latest release.

I downloaded Sonic 2 HD but didn't bother to extract it to play it. Guess I lucked out.
What a maneuver!

The jimmie rustling meme has made its way to Racketboy? I approve.

Oh well. Maybe Sega will one day give us an official HD release of Sonic 2, like they did with Sonic CD.

That really sucks that they had such an egotistical lead programmer.

Maybe one day someone else will make an engine and someone can restart the project.

Oh well...

My reaction:

Well, maybe the source code can be opened then,
While LOst was booted from the project, he allegedly kept the source code to himself, allowing no one else to touch it, according to the statement.
SHIT!
