Racketboy pretty much exists on the premise of guys overindulging themselves on games and game hardware, except we call it "collecting."

Nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of people love FFIV. Now, if you had said the original, or something post-X, then you'd need to be ashamed.

Hi, I'm General_Norris. Um, I'm sure most of you already know me, I know many are still irked for the "incident" but, oh well.

- I own several Dreamcast games, controllers, keyboards and mouses. I do not own a Dreamcast.
- I have never played Deus Ex or the original Quake. I haven't beaten any Sonic game and I dislike Metroid and Zelda. Oh, and the post-SoTN Castlevanias.
- My consoles collect dust. I can't have them permanently connected so playing even ten minutes is difficult for me.
- I have never 1cc a shmup. DoDonPachi was close, tough.
- I played the original Doom...on the GBA

Haha, I have other sins too. I think the music in most Sega games is terrible.

I hate Compile

I think Jet Force Gemini is the best N64 game

I had played on an arcade cab less than 10 times before buying my own.

The first time I ever played a shmup was only 2 years ago.

I also like Ikaruga, although I suck at it.

I think the majority of Nintendo's works are highly overrated.

I think the original Deus Ex has aged horrifically and is also overrated.

The only RPG I enjoyed beginning to end and didn't have to force myself to the finish line was Shining Force.

RTS is one of my favorite genres, yet I haven't really sat down and played through one since 2009ish.

I have this compulsive tendency to sell games and buy them back later. If I had kept everything I've ever bought, I'd probably have one of the most varied and awesome collections here.

For a while I honestly thought it was universally known/accepted that the Super Nintendo is way better than the Sega Genesis. I believe I mentioned this in another thread as well, but you probably thought I was kidding.
