Y's 1 is great great fun. I played it last month for Together Retro, and it was my first exposure to Y's ever.

I really liked it a lot, and I think it took me somewhere around 14 or 15 hours to beat, which was perfect. You can grab Y's 1 and 2 in a combo pack for PSP on the PSN for like 14$ I think.

I think Y's Seven is great too... someday I will get back to it but i'm up to my sac in Devil Survivor 2 right now.

Man,Seven is the the best of the PSP bunch IMO.I believe all three will take 20-30 hrs to complete each Chronicles being both I & II.

And guessing on Oath of Felghana as I havent played, but if its better than 7.

Felghana is solid. The jumping mechanics can be irksome, but not nearly as annoying as Ys VI. The magic power ups were a little tricky to find so I kept a strategy guide handy for that. Overall, it's a great game and much better than the original Ys III.

10 hours into this game now. Hit a rough patch early on, when i had trouble with the first boss! LOL But now 10+ hours into it, i am enjoying it. I think after i beat this, ill try another PSP rpg. Not sure what to get next. But I have been eyeing that persona game. Ill have to dig deeper into it to see if its for me. But i am enjoying Seven alot at the moment.

I just love the sleep mode. Consoles almost take up to much time booting up.

Would anyone recommend the PC version of Oath over the PSP version? either way i think i would get the PC version, got a 360 controller for PC to play it up!

It's on Steam for $14.99 also.

AND!!! dont forget Ys Origin, coming to steam also! looks to be an PC exclusive!

Maybe checkout lunar or legend of heroes (Xseed) if your diggin PSP Rpgs right now..
Some I also like are Brave Story & Astonishia Story too!

You should be very close. My file is around that long and I managed to max out every character in equipment and level cap.

Playing this now and I love it.

Kinda has a Secret of Mana vibe with three total characters, two of whom are controlled by computer AI. Am I the only one who's noticed that the AI is incredibly intelligent? The secondary characters (almost) never take damage from normal enemies and rarely even take damage from bosses. It's making the game quite easy. I only came close to dying once and that was simply because I'm a dumb ass who tried to traverse through lava before I was ready.

(I'm playing on Normal if it matters).

Beat it! haha great game, and i was sad to see it end. About 41 hours. I ended up leveling up my guys with the best weapons. Crisis core is on my radar, but i want to finish up a few games, that i started and never beat. Id give this game a solid 8 out 10 though. And this is coming from someone who does play many RPG's.
