To be fair, the controls do suck.lisalover1 wrote:I was at a dorm gaming party the other night, and I brought down my Dreamcast and Unreal Tournament (along with some other multiplayer games), and one guy was playing against was getting clobbered, so the guy goes on a whiny rant about the game's controls. "The Dreamcast failed because it didn't have a second analog stick!" "Stop shooting me so I can get a kill for once!" What a sore loser.

In his defence i also find playing fps games difficult without a mouse.lisalover1 wrote:I was at a dorm gaming party the other night, and I brought down my Dreamcast and Unreal Tournament (along with some other multiplayer games), and one guy was playing against was getting clobbered, so the guy goes on a whiny rant about the game's controls. Dual analog blows. The Dreamcast controller is one of the best of all time.

Just bought a tub of MagicTime Cheese Balls. Goddammit that shit is nasty!... There's hardly any taste, and what I tasted tasted like shit. On top of that my fingers look like carrots now. I'm sure that yellow 5 and yellow 6 in the ingredients list is responsible for that. Must be one of the worst US export product, ever...

I think it is one of the best, right here with the Gamecube controller. On the very least, it's better than the SNES/PS2 templateRyaNtheSlayA wrote:Everybody has their own opinion... but I seriously hope that was typed in jest.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Dual analog blows. Hey, I take it as a compliment. It's funny to see how everyone's minds explode because you quickshot a predictable Scout.Xeogred wrote:I like how that's a smile?

I just can't fathom how anybody could like the Dreamcast controller. It's nearly as bad as the N64 pad in my honest opinion.General_Norris wrote:I think it is one of the best, right here with the Gamecube controller. I've always found the DC controller rather wonky and uncomfortable.
I loved dual analog on the gamecube controller. Hell I love the gamecube controller in general. Everything about it is designed to be instantly recognizable by touch, and barring anything depending on that puny d-pad, it works beautifully.

I really think the n64 controller is underrated. Outside of that stick that's always breaking and the fact that it looks freakish, it's pretty comfy when you hold it in your hands.RyaNtheSlayA wrote: I just can't fathom how anybody could like the Dreamcast controller. I've never seen that brand here in the US.elmagicochrisg wrote:Just bought a tub of MagicTime Cheese Balls. Goddammit that shit is nasty!... Reminds me of a British guy my dad knew, who had never heard of Altoids until he came to the US.

Really? The DC is my overall favorite, being wired and lacking dual analogs are the only problem... and hey, it's better than having a single one and an abomination that can't be used for anything... GC's C-Stick, I'm looking at you.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I just can't fathom how anybody could like the Dreamcast controller.
