Famicom Mic uses

I was looking on the internet when I learned that the Famicom's second controller had a mic put in it. I thought it was pretty cool and I was wondering what its uses were but was only able to find that it could be used to kill bunnies in Legend of Zelda. Any ideas?

It is also is used for Kid Icarus to lower the shop prices. Just shout in the mic to do so.
