I am not sure if this is the right place to post such a thing but here I go anyway.
I have the biggest problem. I keep trying to burn NesterDC onto a disc with Toast 11. Most of the disc burning guides I have found are for Toast 4-7. Can I actually burn .cdi files like NesterDC onto a CD-RW with Toast 11 successfully? And if so, how?
Also, since I don't know jack squat about disc burning, I would very much appreciate extremely detailed instructions.

First off, don't use a CD-RW, just use a CD-R.
I'm not a Mac user, so I really can't help you much outside of that. But maybe this will help...
I don't know if Toast supports the CDI image. If it doesn't, you might be able to convert it to BIN/CUE which Toast should support. I don't know what's available on Mac, but if you have a way to mount the CDI in a virtual drive, you can accomplish this easily. On the PC, we have programs like Virtual Clone Drive and Daemon Tools. You mount an image, then your computer sees the image as an actual disc. Once mounted, you could use Toast to read the disc to a BIN/CUE image. Then use Toast to burn the BIN/CUE image to a CD-R. It's really quite easy. I've done this at least half a dozen times before ImgBurn was able to burn Dreamcast CDIs.
Unless Toast actually supports CDI images, then you can just burn it directly, which would obviously be easier.
Like I said, I'm not a Mac user, so I really can't help you outside of the info above. The only tips left are use CD-Rs and not CD-RWs, and burn at a slow speed (8x or lower).
