Anyone playing Unit 13?

Post by NathanBarnatt »

I just got a Vita and have been playing Uncharted and Unit 13. I LOVE Unit 13! I am not really into shooters besides Uncharted, which I wouldn't even consider a "shooter". But I may just start playing more. Those are the only 2 games that look good to me for the system. Anyone else got a suggestion?

Some of my friends like their Vita, but yeah sounds like they're waiting for more games. They talk up Wipeout and MvCU3 a lot though.

The demo for wipeout was cool. Don't know if I'd buy it though. That any gravity, cell animation game looks cool. Don't remember what it was called though.

I read that a couple of days ago. Great write up!

Unit 13 is an amazing game. I had a lot of fun with it. Favorite guy is the shotgun guy (Zeus I think is his name). Great Point system too rewarding you with more points and multipliers for certain actions, stealth, and speed.

If you are looking for more PS Vita games I suggest Rayman Origins, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Black, and this week is Disgaea 3 (ports galore).

And the cel shaded game is called Gravity Rush.

I just play BlazBlue on my Vita. Lumines is addictive as always. And Rayman Origins is a great platformer. That is all I have so far. Waiting for Gravity Rush/Daze.
My B/S/T thread! :)

Despite getting 5 stars on every mission, I still play Unit 13 every other day.Friends leaderboards keep it going. The dynamic missions also add replayability due to the random objectives every game.

Other vita games I play alot are Wipeout(new patch has helped loading times),Mutant Blobs attack-a really good solid platformer and cheap,Motorstorm RC due to its craziness.
Other than that I play a lot of mini's and MHFU.

Looking forward to retro city rampage, resistance(just for the mp).

Oh awesome! I didn't know there as a BlazBlue for Vita. Is it just Continuum Shift ported to the Vita or is it a whole new game?

Gravity Daze I believe. It's on my radar as well looks promising. I'm glad to head Unit 13 is decent, I originally wrote it off as a 'meh' shooter but after hearing a bit of praise I might pick it up. A local shop has a brand new copy for $19.99

It's a shame Zipper closed its doors. Blazblue is continuum shift 2 but with all the dlc from the consoles, a new character, and 4 new story sequences.
