I am getting more and more psyched about the new Double Dragon game.

The guys at my local game store put a Marvel vs. Capcom machine in the store. The owner was really happy with it. I told him I'd play a game or two if I had any quarters. He goes, "Quarters. We got quarters." He walked over to the machine, opened it up, pulled out a hand full of quarters, gave me half and then said, "Lets play. I'm gonna whoop your ass." It was an awesome 20 minutes. I only beat him once, but all the matches took longer because I kept using Megaman and Ryo's Hadokens kept flying over his head

I like to think that you arrived to the store swinging open french doors, while you and the owner both gazed first at the cabinet, then at each other. No one speaks, yet Michi again looks at the machine, cracks his knuckles, then stares at the owner.

"Shame I don't carry change. *stares towards the heavens with a brazen look; looks back at store owner* My joystick hand has been quite twitchy lately. *slowly takes off his hat and wipes right hand over his brow, smiling* Especially after what happened to the last guy... *puts hat back on*

*winks at Michi*

*Devilish* Quarters? *Irate* WE GOT QUARTERS! *leans in to Michi's face and hisses* Let'ssss play. *Michi taken aback but confident as Store owner slowly drops quarters, one by one in a dramatic fashion* I'm going to *eyes meet again* whoop...your...ass.

I've only played the third or fourth, I don't see what the whole DD fuss is about. The only other one I'd get is the Battletoads crossover.

I actually always ask to pre order battletoads when they ask me if I want to preorder anything. The funny part is that I always end up convincing the clerk that a new battletoads was just announced the day before. So much hate.

If it's a clerk I don't like I enjoy it even more.

Which reminds me, at the KI multiplayer thingamabob, the Gamestop clerk was rather intelligent. Not only did he know about the GB sequel, but he was able to hold up a competent conversation about the Mother/ Earthbound series.
