Also the PS1. Actually was manufactured until 2004, giving it a lifespan of about 10 years.

My kind of year!

I've had a terrible day today. I got my haircut, and the lady who did it cut it too short. The bus I was supposed to get on to get me to Connecticut broke down, we ended up taking a commuter rail after waiting two hours before finally hearing someone mention that it broke down. While on the train, as I was putting our bag in the overhead, I start to slip, lose my balance, and my bag falls on both me and this other guy a foot away. Apparently, he had a bad day too since he spilled some water all over himself about 30 minutes afterward.

I'm not even superstitious! It wasn't until the bag fell and I slipped that I remembered it was Friday the 13th.

Durability? Probably either the SMS orGenesis. I've never seen a console of either type that didn't work.

Fixed that for you. I may love my SMS to death, but I have gone through 5 broken Master Systems before I found one that even sort of worked.
