I'm still playing, my average is improving but I haven't managed to top my score yet. Still keep making loads of silly mistakes, I'll get there though

It's silly mistakes that get me too. I can generally handle the bosses, or if not I don't mind bein taken out by them, but to die because of a little bullet on a spray pattern...

Guk and yuk. Got a new high on the pcb, but still nowhere near where I want to be.

Typical Psikyo - anytime you get a solid solid run going, the game gets balls-hard - just fills up the screen. Had 3 straight runs to the middle of the 3rd stage, all lives, 4-5 bombs stocked up and Psikyo puts it into "time to calm you down, son" mode. Then it eases back up of course, but...why don't I just bomb more! Urgh.

that's me exactly. I'm so stingy with the bombs and I don't know why. I feel like subconsciously I'm expecting to lose points for bombing. Stupid.

It's not dying and losing the bombs that frustrates me. It's dying on a boss - coming back w/no power, and dying again. That's the frustrating part, saving a bomb often costs me 2 lives.
