I know for some reason the DS cannot play GB/Color games using the GBA port on the bottom. I don't know why Nintendo decided not to do this (maybe not enough room for an extra processor). Is it possible that maybe some hack could be done to make it able to play GB/Color games?

True, but it makes you wonder why Nintendo wouldn't put this feature on the DS. It just seems like common sense to me.

It cost money. Also im sure the typical DS owner isnt too worried about playing GBC games.
