Haha, why Tekken? I haven't played Tekken since the PS1 days. But noise is sending Tekken 6 my way soon. :)

I always prefer physical releases. I'm not sure I'd pay $60 for Skullgirls unless it were LE, but I'd probably have gotten it at $40.

My favorite fighters are probably BlazBlue and Arcana Heart. And BlazBlue the first fighter I've actually been taking the time to learn pretty well over the past month or so. Having Continuum Shift Extend on both the Vita and PS3 helps a lot. Doing my best to learn DoA pretty well too. But DoA4 is so much harder to counter in than DoA Dimensions and the earlier DoA games.

Still haven't even opened KoFXIII... Woops.

It's an awesome game but just as my post in the other thread I don't like the online UI... You can't tell who you play half the time, and there is no replay system or spectator mode... Only 2 man lobbies as well.. It's been selling well so hopefully Mike Z patches these features in..

KILL THE NON-BELIEVER!

Someone said that the game felt to them like Vampire Savior with Marvel and ArcSys influences - and I definitely agree. There are some Marvel and ArcSys mechanics, and the combos feel like a mix of the two, but everything else, especially the footsies, feels like VSav.

I just played the demo, and I simply loved it. I played through arcade mode several times in a row, and now I wish I had the 20 bucks for a PSN card. All I could say was Good Job Mike Z. With all the hard work you and your team have put into this, this is way above a deserving purchase.

has anyone else had trouble playing online? Both time mjmjr25 and me tried to play online the shit slowed down big time. I thought this was the same netcode as SF3 which is super solid and fast.

It does use the same netcode as SF3: OE.

I've been having MUCH better play with Skullgirls online than SF3, honestly.

weird. I'm not sure what's going on. Me and Mike try to play Skullgirls, and it's wicked slow. We switch to something else -- SSF2THD, SSF4 -- and it plays perfectly.

I bought Skullgirls recently, just last Sunday actually, but school kicked in and I didn't get a chance to play the full version. If you want to test connections, just send me a message.

Is anyone still playing this game? I'm having a very hard time getting into it. The tier ranking system is completely idiotic (I've spent upwards of half an hour just trying to get into any sort of match at all), and whenever I finally do get a match it's just a laggy catastrophe. Normally I'd avoid people with around 100 ping, but I'm lucky to even manage those. At its core I really do like this game, but if the online experience doesn't improve for me within a few days then I'm dropping it.
