Yeah, it's definitely at the upper limit for what I will spend on a digital only title. $5 bucks cheaper, and I would just go ahead and pull the trigger. Now I'll need to see some reviews and gameplay videos.
I played the demo last year. I'll be buying this day one.

If this game was $60, I'd still be buying and I wouldn't even feel jipped. This is one of the best fighters I've played in a long time.

For everybody who says 8 is too few characters... Remember Street Fighter II: The World Warriors? That game had only 8 playable characters too, but they weren't anywhere near as diverse as this cast. Just sayin'.

Not digging it so far. Should have downloaded the demo first. Oh well. I'll get back to it when I feel like breaking out the arcade stick.

The lack of a move list, haha.. I'll go through the tutorial stuff later and look up the moves online. Tried some of story mode, and it was hard to get much going. Besides using the same move over and over which unfortunately worked pretty well.

I'm going to take more of a look at it this weekend. I do like how fluid the animation is.

I'll check it out in a bit. Is this a 6 button fighter? Playing a 6 button fighter on the PS3 controller is kind of weird. Heck, playing any fighter with that d-pad kinda blows. Unless this games doesn't have many semi-circle type moves.

I thought you use stick anyway?

I use a fightpad, so it's a circular dpad, and 6-button layout.

But yeah, this is 6button. Capcom layout of

LP, MP, HP
LK, MK, HK

But then it plays more like BlazBlue or Arcana. It's a really cool mix. I don't know man. I'd expect you to like this a lot more.

I was being lazy and using the controller. I'm not saying that I won't like it. Just didn't enjoy it that much on the controller while knowing none of the moves.

I'll break in my new arcade sticks with this game over the weekend. :) I could use a few 6 button fighters. So used to 4 button now. And 5 button for Arcana. It'll be weird not being able to have a finger over every button at all times.

How do people normally control 6 button fighters on a stick? Haha.

Erik strikes me as more of a Tekken guy.

I really wish this was a $60 physical.
