Resonance of Fate should i buy?

Ok so Im a huge sega fan and just got a new ps3 slim and i saw this games its only 20.00 which is a bargain and it looked fairly cool but i can't tell can anyone tell me how this game is and if i should buy it.

It's a Tri-Ace game. Just published by Sega in the USA. Other games they have developed include Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile.

Its really fun but also pretty grindy. If you don't like RPGs that are grind heavy I'd stay away but otherwise Its a pretty entertaining JRPG and probably one of the better JRPGs this gen imo(not a fan of FFXIII or Vesperia).

I say definitely get it. It's around $20 bucks now, and that's a great price, considering I shelled the $60 when it first came out.

It's got an original combat system, but can indeed get pretty grindy. Story also doesn't kick in until the later chapters, but that's not really a big problem. It's fun, and is a real showcase; anyone walking into the room will surely be drawn.

well im getting then but im gonna need to wait till im done with hyperdimension neptunia mk2 which is a rather different sort of game I like it tho but don't have a final decision on it

You should definitely buy it. But be aware: it's hard and you need to know perfectly the combat system. It's probably one of the only good game that made Tri-Ace so far.

Nah, I wouldn't say that's accurate at all. Valkyrie Profile is an opus, and the Star Ocean games are quite good. Tri-Ace is a solid developer.
