Honestly, if that extra content doesn't come to consoles in some form (A patch or DLC) I'm gonna be a little pissed.

I already got screwed out of my preorder content despite preordering almost a month before the game came out. If some new version ends up getting exclusive content that's gonna be one real pain in the ass.

I'd rather it not use GFWL but it's only ever been a minor inconvenience for me. I know lots of people hate it with a passion and wont purchase the game now. What a shame.

Does Microsoft help subsidize the publishing costs on GFWL games? I can't imagine any other reason to use it...

I don't like GFWL, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. I have GFWL in Street Fighter IV, Gears of War, and Viva Pinata. I still enjoy those games. It just feels weird to see my stupid little monkey avatar and all the Microsoft achievement popups in such a dark game. I hope it doesn't have a achievements actually, because I feel like they break the atmosphere in a game like this.

Assuming they port over the achievements from the console versions, they aren't terribly immersion breaking. There are a couple at the beginning, a few after major bosses, one for each covenant you find, and several for maxing out weapons/getting all spells/getting all items.

Some of the achievements are a huge pain to get as well and would be next to impossible to get without a guide, all the spells spring to mind since I just did that. But the achievements you don't have to go looking for are pretty straight forward mostly stuff you would do anyway like beating bosses or doing something you have to do anyway.

Feh, I play with a local profile anyways. I don't recall any silly pop-ups in DOWII or the rest of the games using Xbox-for-Windows.

Bunch of bullshit. Pvp area? I want one dammit. I'm sick of getting invaded by cowards in sens fortress that run and hide from me. The only time they attack is when I'm on a narrow ledge and they just use that stupid miracle that pushes you to try and make me fall.

Also the new bosses don't even look that cool my favorite boss is still the tower knight.

The whole point of the invasion system is for there to be one more way for you to get screwed over.
