Wii games for a 5 year old?

My sons (5 and 3 years) are really enjoying the Wii at the moment. They already finished Sonic Colors and Kirby's Adventure without any help from me. They are almost done with Kirby's Yarn (or whatever it's called) and we often play Smash Brothers together. They also enjoy the Megaman games even though they are too tough and love it when I play any Zelda game (on any system)
Can anyone suggest other Wii games they might enjoy? They don't like motion controls and like to play with the Classic Controller if possible. Two player co-op mode would be great as well. And keep in mind that they can't read yet.

Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL - It's Super Smash Brothers with Cartoon Network characters.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold - I'm not sure if it can use the classic controller, but it uses the nunchuck and the wii mote for the sticks and the buttons, instead of the motion controls (the specials use waggle controls, though).

I think they would like Batman: The Brave and the Bold, it looks beautiful, has co-op play and not too tough. Don't think that it supports the classic controller, but shaking the remote is kept to a minimum.

My youngest kids struggle with the motion controls as well, and they find the IR pointer impossible to use as well. They all like watching me play any Zelda game though. In fact, I'm a getting a bit burnt out on the series as they insist that I play it while they watch.

Please explain why you don't already own Skylanders? It fits your needs exactly. By far, the best co-op game for 4-6 year olds that I have ever experienced in my life, yet still interesting and exciting for adults.

It does look like a cool game though and I like the idea of the portal and the figures.

At worst, for the peak enjoyment, you might want two of each element type. That means buying 13 additional figures. Four of those come in the adventure packs if you want to do the extra adventures, so only nine additional figures. That's three triple-packs which are $20 each.

Given that Toys R Us in the US often has BOGO for these, you are looking at about $130 TOTAL, and that is for the absolutely ideal situation of one element of each type for two children (eight figures each) and every one of the four adventure packs (the most expensive part, oddly). If you only have one child playing or just want to buy less figures then you can get a full complement of the elements plus the base game for $75 at worst (not on sale).

The game is really great, and the memories and enjoyment my daughter have gotten out of it is priceless. Spending around $100 on such a game which will be enjoyed for months, with both the kids and the adults in the house, is probably one of the best gaming deals you will find. It's been five months since we got into it, and it is still requested almost daily, and still fun on our fourth play-through.

Did I mention that the figures are fun to play with outside of the game? My daughter and her friend have had many afternoons spend playing pretend with the toys (Sonic Boom is her favorite). Their most recent project was making a bedroom for Sunburn and Sonic Boom out of doll house furniture.

Come on. You can buy several consoles for that money, or a year's worth of games. The best thing I can say about it is that there's a 25% chance the figurines won't severely deflate in value.

Donkey Kong Country Returns and New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

The motion controls in DKCR are entirely optional. And the mild amount of shaking required in NSMBW is akin to the Kirby games.

If you're REALLY digging, there's Spyborgs from Capcom and TMNT Smash Up (it's like Smash Bros. but not as good, and with Ninja Turtles, but worth a look).

DKC Returns and NSMB Wii will be relatively difficult for five-year-olds. DKC Returns works decently if an adult plays with them, but the platforming can be frustrating at times.

The Lego games (Indiana Jones, Batman, Star Wars, Harry Potter) are easy, simple, not complete crap, and have co-op. I know plenty of young kids who enjoy that series.
