I played through the Final Fantasy Collection version some years ago. I loved customizing my party and thoroughly enjoyed the game. The difficulty - at least for me - ramped up significantly at the end of the game, and my battles against the optional bosses and the last boss were epic. I have played through a lot of RPGs, but I can still recall the strategy that I used to topple each of those monsters.) Accordingly, spend some time grinding and bring your "A" game when you head into the final dungeon.Stark wrote:Thanks! I got it for free on PSN, but I'd really like to play this on a portable and the Vita doesn't do PSOne games.alienjesus wrote:GBA.Stark wrote:What's the best way for me to play FFV? (To respond to your question, however, the GBA port is superior to the PS1 port; so, if I were playing it again, that is the version that I would choose.)
On topic...I am about six hours into Final Fantasy III (NDS), and I am enjoying it so far. If you go back a few pages, you will see that I recently completed Dragon Warriror III; so, I am right at home with this no-frills, "old-school" JRPG.
