Smile: Congrats, s1mplehumar !

Ticked: So I said I went down to that local guitar shop on Tuesday and was talking to the owner again, I posted about that already. He definitely wants to hire me, but the process isn't going too smoothly. When we last talked (on Tuesday) we left off with plans for me to go back up there on Friday (yesterday) a little after 2PM. When I said, "I can be here a little after 2," he said, "That's perfect." So, I got there yesterday at maybe 2:10... and he wasn't there! And apparently he just left! So I left a message to say I was there, give me a call. When the guy didn't write the message down, I was thinking, "Yeah, he's definitely gonna get that message." Then when I was walking out to my car I was thinking, "He probably lost my number again anyway! So even if he gets the message, he probably can't call me!"

New games make me smile (more in the Games Acquired thread)

But they're even better when they're CIB, and when they're sealed and unopened. Like the CIB I got from Konami Arcade Advanced earlier, this eBay auction did not even mention it, just threw a stock photo up and a 5 word description

:x : Every time I get a Pokemon game, the battery is dead. It's like the series that refuses to be played.

This seems common among Pokemon games. I could be wrong but I think they have some kind of internal clock. This would shorten the battery life significantly, it's kinda like having a watch battery I suppose.

Yeah, except they don't last as long typically.

I really should get myself some tools and offer battery replacement as a service.

I feel like complete shit right now and I have to go back to the doctor at 10 this morning to get another EKG and get some blood work done. I might actually know something today but I'm not sure, the nurse just called and said the doctor wants to talk to me when I get there.

Well, the good news is, the echo results came back normal. The bad news is, that doesn't help at all with figuring out what's wrong. The blood work was so they could check my magnesium, because that has a lot to do with your heart rate apparently. I should hear back about that some time tomorrow probably. The nurse said they just can't put their finger on it. They want me to see an electrophysiologist (I think that's what she said) and see if he can figure anything out. Until then they want me to up the dosage of my medicine and see if that'll help. That's pretty much all I know at this point.
