...Are you serious? Is this how console gamers feel about PC?

Ironic is it not? Usually it's PC gamers bitching about games being on console.

Also new londo JT that's where you don't wanna go.

Mods? Oh shit, everything's going to be fucked up now. Remember the Half-Life 2 Cinematic Mod or the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Complete Mod? Those were awful! I mean, it's not like I can choose to not install these terrible mods, because as we all know they're forced upon us!

Back on topic, I read about this a while ago and am looking forward to it.

I've never seen the HL2 Cinematic Mod before, but I looked it up after your post. It looks like it might be time to play through Half Life 2 again.

Did you guys try as hard as you possibly could to miss the point I'm attempting to make or do I just fail when it comes to communication? Reading these responses... I don't even know what to say.

And yeah, I tried to do the Catacombs first and it did not end well. Go to the Undead Burg first.

I'd like you to explain it to me as if I was five.

Im not sure there was any GOOD point there. The more PC ports the better, IMO. Modding community is a good thing.

I don't even play many PC games, but I appreciate what the modding community is capable of. They offered up tweaks to make Skyrim look AND run better for me. Things as simple as that are great along with all the much more elaborate mods.

Blind mentalities such as yours are what make pretty much all my posts other than the informative ones pointless. The fact that the discussion has gone towards "he's a console gamer and hates PC ports lol" despite the fact that I've been primarily a PC gamer since I was 5 years old and my only complaint was that Bamco is going to change the game for the worse and it's going to get a ton of mods (this is the reason From doesn't do PC) attests to that. What I said has nothing to do with the fact that it's being ported to PC. It's great that PC gamers are going to get to play it.

I think his point, and Bruno correct me if I'm wrong, is that if you jump in with mods you might miss the way the game is supposed to be played.

That, and the fact that PC gamers playing it for the first time aren't going to be getting From's original vision of the game. They're going to get a modified Bamco version. If the original developers themselves decided to bring the game to PC and enhance it, I wouldn't be ticked at all really.

I had already made a post in the Dark Souls thread about how the game might get a PC port and expressed my apprehension awhile ago, it just sucks to see that what I had feared ended up happening.
